iBUYPOWER have won ESEA Invite Season 15 Global Finals and $20,000 after two wins over Titan (2-0, 2-1) in the grand final coming from the lower bracket.

iBUYPOWER rode their momentum from compLexity win to a quick 3-0 start as counter-terrorists on de_season, a map they defeated Titan on in their upper bracket semi-final.

The French-Belgian side quickly tied the game at three a piece with two weapon round wins, but once again fell victim to strong play by the Americans, who racked up a 9-6 lead.

Keven "AZK" Lariviere led the terrorist pistol round rush that saw iBP extend their lead to 12-6. After adding another weapon round win, the Americans were all of a sudden up 14-6, as Titan weren't able to win any save rounds.

The squad of Kèvin "Ex6TenZ" Droolans mounted a small comeback to win three straight, but it wouldn't be enough as Sam "DaZeD" Marine would lead his team to two more round wins and a 16-9 win.

DaZeD led his team to a 16-9 win on de_season

Lariviere's triple kill gave iBUYPOWER an early 3-0 lead on de_dust2, but strong play by Nathan "NBK Schmitt gave Titan the fourth round. iBP won the next four rounds, and found themselves up 7-1.

A weak Titan buy got the French-Belgians their second round, but iBUYPOWER quickly recovered and won two straight. Titan then forced their way back into the game, winning three of the final four rounds to get to five at half.

Droolans' team on their terrorist pistol round, and suddenly the deficit was cut to two. Next six rounds were traded, and iBP found themselves closer and closer to the win at 14-10.

A successful A-split won Titan a round, and Adil "ScreaM" Benrlitom's awakening brought them within one before iBP forced game point in the first best-of-three series.

Richard "shox" Papillon's double delays what becomes inevitable, but iBUYPOWER shut down Titan's mid-to-B push on the thirtieth round, securing the first of two needed series wins with a 16-14 score on de_dust2. The two finalists started the second series neck and neck on de_cache, with the first nine rounds being traded until Titan found themselves up 5-4, despite Lariviere's quad kill round.

iBP went on to win seven straight rounds, including a one-on-one by Williams on round thirteen and a Latham double on the final round, as they scored a comfortable 10-5 lead.

Marine and Eric "adreN" Hoag retook the A site successfully in the second half pistol round, but Benrlitom's entry allowed Titan to win a weak buy on the third round, making it 6-12.

A Lariviere double gave iBP its thirteenth round, but a Schmitt quad kill and doubles from Schmitt and Benrlitom quickly got Titan within three. iBP struck back, but Papillon triple kill plus an assist round secured money control.

Titan made it to 13-14 easily, and then traded the final three rounds with iBUYPOWER, thus able to force overtime, where their experience would give them a hand.

Ex6TenZ' Titan couldn't get anything going in the grand final

Papillon and Droolans secured the first round in a two-on-two, while Titan easily ran over the B bombsite to make it 2-0. Third round was easy as well, and a triple from Papillon secured a 19-15 win in the second half.

iBUYPOWER won their counter-terrorist pistol round on de_nuke, but two frags by Benrlitom won Titan an early round. iBP regained control on the following round, but Titan then went on a streak that saw them win four rounds in a row.

Now trailing 3-5, iBUYPOWER simply locked down all of the map, as Titan weren't even able to come too close to winning a round anymore, and had to go into second half down 5-10.

Droolans' four kills won his team the pistol, but iBP won the third round rather easily. Latham then got boosted on the catwalk from outside, and the neat trick allowed him to get four kills and a 13-7 lead for his team.

A sizable crowd gathered behind Titan

Doubles from Papillon and Droolans, followed up by a pair of kills from Benrlitom and a one-on-one win from Droolans kept Titan within striking distance, but two one-on-ones gave iBP map point, and they closed out de_nuke 16-11.

The fifth and deciding map in the grand final started off with Titan winning the first three rounds as terrorists on de_inferno. After Marine's heroics on round four, the French-Belgians pushed their lead to 5-1.

Marine would once again carry his team on round seven as he scored four frags in the B bombsite. Titan avoided him next, winning a round in A, but that was all she sang for the favorites in the first half.

Double kills from Lariviere and Hoag cut their lead to 3-6, and two kills from Williams tied the game at six. Three rounds later the Americans found themselves up 9-6 in the deciding map.

AZK had a good showing in the grand final

Lariviere bested Droolans in a one-on-one to start the second half, and Williams was able to kill the final Titan member with one second remaining in a one-on-one on round two.

Edouard "SmithZz" Dubourdeaux' hat trick cut down iBUYPOWER's lead by a round, but two rounds later Lariviere's triple seized control of the game to iBP once again, with a 13-8 lead.

Down 8-14 after a save round that saw Latham score four frags, Droolans' three kills in B gave Titan some hope, but their banana push right after proved unsuccessful and iBP gained game point at 15-9.

Triples from both Latham and Schmitt kept Titan alive, and a one-on-one clutch by Papillon ultimately got his side within one. But ultimately it was Williams and Marine who clutched a two-on-three for the 16-14 win.
